Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition capable of satisfactorily securing a process-stability without compounding a large amount of filler or sulfur and/or a vulcanization accelerator to the rubber composition, and also capable of producing a high-hardness rubber usable even under severe conditions such as high-load condition by being subjected tovulcanization.
The rubber composition contains, with respect to 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component, 5 to 120 pts.wt. of carbon black and polysaccharides, preferably 5 to 50 pts.wt. of starch as a polysaccharide. The rubber composition preferably contains, as the rubber component, 50 to 100 pts.wt. of chloroprene rubber in 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component.
