Abstract:

To provide a rubber composition for improving viscoelastic characteristics possessed by vulcanized rubber used for tire production.

This rubber composition includes a compound expressed by formula (I), a rubber component and a filler. In formula (I), A¹ represents an alkanediyl group which may have a substituent, cycloalkanediyl group which may have a substituent, or *-B¹-Ar-B²- group, where -CH₂- contained in the alkanediyl group may be replaced by -NH-, -O- or -S-; B¹ and B² each represents a single bond or an alkanediyl group; Ar represents a divalent aromatic hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent; X¹ represents -CO-NH-*, -CO-O-*, -CO-* or a single bond; R¹ and R² each represents H, a halogen atom, alkyl, aryl, hydroxy or alkoxy group, or mutually bonded to form an alkanediyl group.
