Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition showing improved adhesion and adhesion retention between the rubber composition and a metallic reinforced cord such as a steel wire and cable embedded in the rubber stock and to provide a rubber article.
The adhesion and adhesion retention between the vulcanizable rubber composition and bright steel are improved by incorporating about 0.1-10 parts weight compound selected from the group comprising aminosilane, mercaptosilane and a mixture thereof based on 100 parts weight rubber component of the rubber composition into the rubber composition before vulcanized.
