Title:
RUBBER CONTACT SWITCH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3131372
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a push pin in a single operation by forming the push pin as integral part of the upper or lower end of a guide part via a joint capable of being cut or bent, and forcing the push pin into the hole of the guide part through the pressing operation of the push pin.
SOLUTION: The lower end of a push pin 8 and the upper end of a guide part 7 immediately after molding a switch case 5 are jointed to each other integrally via a joint 12 at two positions right and left. Also, the joint 12 is formed out of a thin strip, so as to be capable of being easily cut. Furthermore, a vertical groove 13 positioned immediately below the joint 12 is formed at both sides of the internal surface of the hole 7a of the guide part 7. At the time of assembling a switch, the push pin 8 is pressed from an upper level and as a result, the joint 12 is cut. The push pin 8 is thereby forced into the hole 7a of the guide part 7. In this case, the burr-like debris of the separated joint 12 remains on the lower end of the push pin 8. but slides along the groove 13, thereby allowing the push pin 8 to descend smoothly for being assembled with the switch.
