Abstract:

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject form excellent in heat resistance and swelling resistance by crosslinking a rubber composition prepared by blending each specified amount of a chlorinated rubber and nitrile rubber. CONSTITUTION:The objective form can be obtained by crosslinking, using a peroxide, a rubber composition comprising (A) a chlorinated rubber (pref., chlorinated polyethylene), (B) a nitrile rubber (pref. hydrogenated nitrile rubber) and (C) an acid scavenger (pref. magnesium oxide). The amounts of the components A, B and C to be used are, respectively, 1-99 pts.wt., 99-1 pts.wt. and 1-50 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of a total of the components A and B.
