Abstract:
To provide a toothed belt capable of improving the durability during high-load traveling.
The toothed belt 1 has a belt body 10 based on rubber comprising a plurality of tooth sections 2 disposed at the predetermined interval in a belt longitudinal direction, and a back section 4 having a core wire 3 embedded therein, and a tooth cloth 5 for covering the surface of a plurality of the toothed sections 2. The core wire 3 is made of a chemical fiber, and has a cross-sectional area that is in a range of 1.10 to 1.70 mm2per 1 mm of belt width.
