To provide a sanitary rubber mat for bedrock bathing, which becomes lightweight and easy to handle by virtue of the use of a rubber and which can be wholly washed by encapsulating various types of radioactive substances into the rubber, so as to solve the following problems: a conventional bedrock body for bedrock bathing is a heavy rigid object; a bather feels a physical pain because of the hardness of the bedrock body, when lying on the bedrock body; and the bedrock body becomes insanitary due to the gathering of mold and the propagation of bacteria etc., after long-term use.

Far-infrared radiation mineral powder, a far-infrared radiation mineral granule, radon radiation mineral powder 2, and radium radiation mineral powder 5 are mixed into a rubber chip 1; a small amount of adhesive 6 is added; and a mixture subjected to mixing forming is produced, molded by using a mold, and pressure-baked, so that the rubber mat for bedrock bathing can be manufactured.
