Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method for evaluating a correlation between an equivalent vulcanization amount and a crosslinking density with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A evaluation method includes a first step of obtaining a rubber block formed of a vulcanized rubber by vulcanizing an unvulcanized rubber housed in a housing chamber by using a metal mold having a pair of members capable of forming the housing chamber of which depth varies along a length direction by combining, a second step of calculating an equivalent vulcanization amount based on temperature-time curves prepared for the respective measurement points, by preparing temperature-time curves by measuring temperatures during vulcanization in a plurality measurement points located on a median line in the depth direction of the housing chamber, and a third step of measuring a crosslinking density of a vulcanized rubber formed at respective measuring points by providing to a crosslinking density measurement test by sampling a vulcanized rubber containing each of the plurality of measuring points as a test piece from the rubber block that was taken out of the housing chamber and quenched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
