Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber member for an electrophotographic use, which has impact resilience sufficiently stable even under the conditions of varying environment, enabling it to apply as a functional cleaning blade and the like.
SOLUTION: A rubber elastic body composed of a polyurethane obtained by using a polyester polyol having a number average molecular weight of 500-5,000 and also having in the range of 2-8 mmol/g of ester concentration defined by the formula: ester concentration (mmol/g)=(mol number of ester group)/(weight of polyester polyol), is used as the rubber member for an electrophotographic use.
