Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber-modified polymer compsn. possessing excellent mechanical properties, especially high impact resistance, and excellent moldability.
SOLUTION: This rubber-modified polymer compsn. comprises: 5 to 79wt.% graft copolymer comprising a rubber and, grafted thereon, a vinyl arom. monomer and a monomer selected from the group consisting of a 1-4C alkyl methacrylate, a 1-4C alkyl acrylate, methacrylonitrile, and acrylonitrile; 90 to 20wt.% thermoplastic polyamide polymer; and 1 to 50wt.% polymer comprising a vinyl arom. monomer, at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of a 1-4C alkyl methacrylate, a 1-4C alkyl acrylate, methacrylonitrile, and acrylonitrile and 0.2 to 30mol% compd. contg. α,β-unstad. dicarboxylic acid anhydride, wherein it further comprises at least one monofunctional dicarboxylic anhydride-contg. compd. having a wt. average mol.wt. of less than 1,500g/mol.
