This rubber-modified polymer compsn. comprises: 5 to 79wt.% graft copolymer comprising a rubber and, grafted thereon, a vinyl arom. monomer unit and a monomer unit selected from the group consisting of a 1-4C alkyl methacrylate, a 1-4C alkyl acrylate, methacrylonitrile, and acrylonitrile onto a rubber; 90 to 20wt.% thermoplastic polymer having a polar group; and 1 to 50wt.% terpolymer comprising a vinyl arom. monomer, at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of a 1-4C alkyl methacrylate, a 1-4C alkyl acrylate, methacrylonitrile, and acrylonitrile and 0.2 to 5mol% compd. contg. α,β-unsatd. dicarboxylic acid anhydride, wherein the molar mass of the terpolymer is 160,000 to 230,000g/mol.
