Abstract:
PURPOSE:To keep paper sheet from contamination by disposing a lot of fine projections which are extended at a right angle to the peripheral directon of a roller and trapezoidal in section on the surface of the roller. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a rubber roller 1 is provided with a lot of fine projections which are extended at a right angle to the peripheral direction of the roller and trapezoidal in section. In this arrangement, good frictional force is worked upon a paper sheet to be transported, and ink adhered to the roller surface is reduced so as to prevent contamination of the paper sheet.
