PURPOSE: To manufacture a rubber seal at favorable productivity and a low cost, by a method wherein a cushioning layer whose end face is flat is provided on a seal main body, on which a peeling layer comprised of rubber having the glass transition temperature higher than -50°C is fixed by an adhesive agent.
CONSTITUTION: An engraving machine 1 possesses an L-shaped pedestal part 2 on which an X-Y table 4 is arranged through an elevating driving apparatus 3, the tip of the table 4 is fitted with a pair of seal material fixing jigs 6, through which a rubber seal material 8 is fixed by placing between the jigs 6. A cooling machine 20 possesses a casing 22 holding a vessel 24 of a cooling medium, the inside of which is provided with a switch 30 and driving apparatus 32. The vessel 24 of the cooling medium is obtained by filling the same with the cooling medium such as various fluorocarbons evaporating under the normal temperature and normal pressure and when a valve button 26 is pushed down, the cooling agent C is injected to the seal material 8 through a nozzles 28. The switch 30 abuts against the side of the vessel 24 of the cooling agent, when the vessel 24 of the cooling agent is within the casing 22, the switch is turned ON and when the same is absent, the switch is turned OFF.
