Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent exfoliation and breakage between a vulcanized rubber and an unvalcanized rubber, by integrally jointing and connecting a soft plastically deformable part formed of unvalcanized rubber to a hard core part formed of valcanized rubber through an intermediate connecting part formed of partially vulcanized rubber. CONSTITUTION:By abutting a soft plastically deformable part 2 of unvalcanized rubber C against a severely uneven seal area, a rubber seal material (a1) easily deforms and follows the shape of the seal area so that it is closely contacted to the seal area for surely maintaining its seal effect, and as well the soft plastically deformable part 2 may be closely contacted to the seal area without any compressing force more than that required, thereby an intermediate connecting part 3 may be used for a long time without the fear of exfoliation and breakage. Further, since the soft plastically deformable part 2 is progressed under natural vulcanization due to chronological variation and is therefore cured completely, after it deforms and completely follows the uneveness of the seal surface contacting closely thereto, the close contact thereof is enhanced and the durability thereof may be enhanced.
