Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition having both high fatigue breakage resistance and chipping resistance before and after aging.
The rubber composition is obtained by mixing (a) pts.wt. of sulfur, (b) pts.wt. of a compounding agent B represented by the formula: R2N-(C =S)-S-S-(CH2)x-S-S-(C=S)-NR2 (wherein R is C6H5CH2 and x is 6) and one or more sulphenamide-based vulcanization accelerators, their sum amount being (c) pts.wt. with 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component containing at least one diene- based rubber wherein (a), (b) and (c) satisfy the following relations at the same time: a≥0.5, 0.05≤c/(a+b/2)≤0.5 and 1.6≤a+b/2+c≤2.5.
