PURPOSE: To provide a rubbish feeding device which is equipped with a low-cost sack breaking function of compact structure and which can transport rubbish sacks to a rubbish feed port while each sack is being broken.

CONSTITUTION: A rubbish feeding device is equipped with a housing 1 furnished in the upper part with a cast-in hole 11 and at the bottom with a rubbish feed port 12, a screw 3 having a screw cutter 31 formed from a plurality of cutter edges continued in interruptions, a plurality of fixed cutters 51 installed on the inner wall of the housing 1 and breaking each rubbish sack in the space to the screw cutter 31, and a driving means 6 which rotates the screw 3. The rubbish feed port 12 is formed at one end of the bottom of the housing 1 while a foreign matter exhaust hole 13 is provided at the other end of the bottom, and the housing 1 is furnished with the first partitioning plate 4 to partition its inside into a receipt part 15 and a supply part 16. The screw cuter 31 is inserted through a through hole provided in the first partitioning plate 4 while a certain gap is reserved, and a means to transport the rubbish not penetrating the through hole to the foreign matter exhaust hole 13 side is provided.
