PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubbish treating apparatus which can be applied to a wide channel and has improved durability and treatment efficiency.
SOLUTION: Fixed bar screens 45 are constituted so that the front sides 45a take a nearly linear shape or a minor axis side shape of a nearly elliptic shape and the side surface sides 45b of a crusher side continuing to the front surface sides take a shape which guides the rubbish to the crusher. Further, the plurality of fixed bar screens 45 are separated and stacked vertically and the back surface sides thereof are opened. Rakes are constituted so that the respective rakes 46 move through spacings of the fixed bar screens 45 and the tips of the rakes 46 protrude outward or are retracted from the outer periphery of the screens 45. Therefore, the screens 45 are supported by both of the end part sides which do not interfere with the movement of the rakes 46 and are hardly bent and can be made long-sized as compared to the case that the screens 45 are made to be circular arc shape and both sides are supported. Further, the rigidity is enhanced because the screens 45 are fixed. Furthermore, the back surface side of the screens 45 is opened, therefore, the stagnation of the rubbish is eliminated and the treated water easily passes therethrough. In addition, the screens 45 are not net-type and the rubbish collected by the screens 45 is raked up by the rakes 46 and, therefore, the entanglement of the rubbish is eliminated.
