PURPOSE: To assure user's convenience by attaching a hood, shoulder cover, and mantle near the top of a rucksack main body and by providing a housing space to fold in the said hood, etc.

CONSTITUTION: On the outer side of a rucksack main body 1, pockets 2, sling handles, etc., are provided as necessary. To the side of the rucksack main body 1 to be in contact with the user's back, a pair of back-carrying bands 4 are attached. Furthermore, around the upper part of the outer side of the rucksack main body 1, an opening 6 is formed for the things in a housing space 5 and, inside the space 5, a hood 7 integrated with the rucksack main body 1 is folded in. A shoulder cover 8 and mantle may also be housed in the space 5.
