Abstract:
To provide a rudder for a marine vessel that can be manufactured accurately at a low cost.
A rudder for a marine vessel is formed of outer surface material into spindle shape from the top view with internal space. Inside the internal space, several cross members extended between both side face parts of the outer surface material are interposed in front and in the rear of the axis of a rudder shaft, and shelf plates 18 are laid with appropriate spaces in a vertical direction to constitute the skeleton of a rudder plate 10. In this case, round pipes 28, 30 are vertically passed in the internal space 12 including the axis of the rudder shaft to replace the cross members.
