To provide a rug for a baby buggy, capable of covering chest and side part of an infant, excellent in heat retaining properties, and capable of being readily attached and detached to the baby buggy.

This rug for a baby buggy is constituted of a rug cloth 1 having a size capable of covering over leg parts, a chest part and side parts of an infant sitting on the baby buggy, a wide ribbon 2 inserted in the upper part of the rug cloth 1 and winding around a seat back of the baby buggy, a flat rubber used at the part of the wide ribbon 2, and buckles installed at the both sides of the wide ribbon 2. The lower part of the rug cloth 1 is folded back and sewed together to form a pocket-like bag part 5. The rug has excellent heat retaining properties. The rug does not slip off even when the infant flaps the legs, and can surely protect the infant.
