Abstract:
To provide a ruler for a circular saw and a ruler attachment for a circular saw which can reduce load during cutting work of a plate material.SOLUTION: A ruler for a circular saw 100 includes: a plate material abutment part 21 which has a plate material abutment surface 22a abutting to an orthogonal side A1 orthogonal to a cutting line C1 of a plate material A; a guide part 23 which has a circular saw abutment surface 23a extending orthogonally to the plate material abutment surface 22a; a ruler part 3 which has a ruler side 32 formed into a linear shape and is retractable from the guide part 23; and switching means 4 which can switch between a protrusion position in which the ruler part 3 is protruded to an opposite side to the plate material abutment part 21 from the guide part 23 and a retreat position in which the ruler part 3 is retreated to a plate material abutment part 21 side from the guide part 23. When a clearance between a blade surface of the circular saw and the circular saw abutment surface 23a is a distance in a state that an end surface of a base part of the circular saw abuts on the circular saw abutment surface 23a, the ruler side 32 becomes parallel to the circular saw abutment surface 23a in the protrusion position and a clearance M between the ruler side 32 and the circular saw abutment surface 23a is equal to the distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
