Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize the image information data base retrieving method for retrieving image information containing retrieval key information at a high speed with high precision by using a retrieval key indicating a position.
CONSTITUTION: This retrieving method consists of a retrieval display part 910 which inputs the retrieval key and displays retrieval information, macro-object retrieval processing 970 which retrieves an image containing an object larger than a geometrical distortion error by using the retrieval key, local distortion correction processing 1140 which corrects the latitude conversion coefficient of the display image and registers the image, micro-object retrieval processing 1240 which retrieves an image containing an object smaller than the geometrical distortion error by using the corrected latitude conversion coefficient, a data file part 900 which is stored with a table used for the retrieval, an image analytic part 940 which enlarges the retrieved image and corrects the distortion, and a data registration assistance part 930 which registers a newly generated table.
