Abstract:
PURPOSE:To discriminate a control mark without reference to the inversion of a vehicle body moving direction by arranging mark constituting parts so that the read order of the mark constituting parts is the same regardless of whether the vehicle body moves forth or back. CONSTITUTION:A photosensor SL is provided on the front and rear of a vehicle V. Further, marks m1-m3 and run address marks mx displaying run control commands are provided at stop positions of the moving vehicle, branch start positions at intersecting points, etc. Each mark mx consists of plural kinds of mark constituting parts ma, mb, and mc so that the marks ma or mc different from the mark mb are arranged symmetrically in front of and behind the center mark mb along a guide line and the same mark mx is obtained whichever direction those three marks are read in. Consequently, the detection order of the marks ma, mb, and mc by the sensors SL is unchanged without reference to whether the moving vehicle V runs forth or back along the guide line.
