To provide a run flat traveling state detecting device giving a driver information about a run flat traveling state, and greatly contributing to safety traveling.
The run flat traveling state detecting device is provided with a tire side installing unit 1 attached to a run flat supporting core 6 and a vehicle side installing unit 7 attached to a vehicle. The tire side installing unit 1 has a sensor 8 detecting a load added to the run flat supporting core 6 during run flat traveling, and a sending portion 10 sending a detection signal of the sensor 8. The vehicle side installing unit 7 is equipped with a receiving portion 12 receiving the detection signal from the sending portion 10, and a processing portion 13 determining the run flat traveling state on the basis of a value of the detection signal from the receiving portion 12 and a predetermined run flat traveling state determining threshold.
