Abstract:
To improve run flat durability of a run flat tire having a reinforcing liner layer.
In the run flat tire, the reinforcing liner layers having a falcated cross section are disposed in the inner side of carcass layers of the right and left side wall parts respectively. (i) The carcass layer is composed of a rubber composition containing a diene based rubber of 100 pts.wt. and a novolac-type phenolic resin of 1-5 pts.wt., and (ii) the reinforcing liner layer is composed of the rubber composition which contains the diene based rubber of 100 pts.wt. and the novolac-type phenolic resin of 1-3 pts.wt. and where a storage elastic modulus is 9-15 MPa at 60C and tan is 0.06 or less at 60C.
