Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a runaway preventing device for preventing a conveying carriage from derailing or the like in a branching/joining point device.
CONSTITUTION: Relating to a branching/joining point device, it is constituted in a manner wherein a conveying carriage, by providing its running fixed rails 11, 12 and movable rail 16 to place both ends or one end adjacent to one end of the fixed rails 11, 12 by moving the movable rail 16, can be made to run from the fixed rails 11, 12 to the other fixed rails 11, 12 via the movable rail 16 by obtaining running power from a power feed line 18. Accordingly, the power feed line 18, provided along the fixed rails 11, 12, is separated from one end of appearing in a branching point region Z by prescribed distances L1, L2, and when an end part of the movable rail 16 is not adjacent to end parts of the fixed rails 11, 12, a power supply is not connected to a separating power feed line of the fixed rail, so as to stop the conveying carriage in this separating power feed line region.
