Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the setting construction of a guide member by correcting the position of an unattended running car in the position, where the guide member is set, in accordance with information obtained from a comparator and a parallelism detector. CONSTITUTION:The unattended car is taught before it is run. When measuring a distance equal to a travel distance dX, rotation detectors 24 and 25 send an arrival command (g) to an input/output control circuit 27. The measured distance between the unattened car and a guide member 5 is calculated by a detecting part 13 and distance detectors 28a and 28b. This calculated distance is compared with a reference distance stored in a travel map storage device 31 by a comparator 29 to calculate the quantity of positional displacement, and a directional deviation quantity F of the unattended car is calculated by a parallelism detector 30. A rotation number operator 32 calculates the correction quantity of the rotation number of driving wheels 2 and 3 and the correction time which are required for return of the unattended car to a reference travel path. Since it is unnecessary to provide guide members in all of the region of the travel path, the setting construction is made easy.
