Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the running of vehicle, etc., without connection with a vehicle by eliminating a cable required for acquiring a signal related to running detected from the vehicle.
SOLUTION: The output of an acceleration sensor 1 mounted on a vehicle is filtered 2 to restrain the frequency range due to idling or the like. As constant vibration continues during the running of a vehicle, the running detection is performed depending on the nature. The means integrates the absolute value 3 of a sensor output fluctuation during a fixed period (summing processing 4), threshold-process it and first performs temporary detection 5. As caught noise is detected in the temporary detection output, cumulative processing 6 is conducted and then threshold processing 6 is conducted to perform final detection 7.
