To provide running motor control equipment of a battery vehicle which can improve the sensation of turning and turning efficiency at low speed and realize optimum turning performance.
This control equipment is provided with a steering angle detecting means 21 for detecting a steering angle between the common axial line of front wheels 12a, 12b and the axial line of rear wheels; a ratio calculating means 22 for calculating the ratio of a distance between the intersection of the two axial lines and the front wheel 12a more distant from the intersection and a distance between the intersection and the nearer front wheel 12b, on the basis of the steering angle; a function determining means 23 which obtains the number of revolution of a motor/a current command value function in the front wheel 12b, on the basis of the number of revolution of a motor/a current command value function in the front wheel 12a and the obtained ratio; and a control means 24 for individually controlling the respective running motors 4a, 4b of the two front wheels 12a, 12b on the basis of the two functions.
