Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide running shoes which a user can use by making an adjustment by simple handling so that the use may obtain optimal cushiony properties of the treads, corresponding to a state of usage.
CONSTITUTION: In running shoe 1 which is fitted to a foot with such a fixture as a lace or a Hoop-and-Hoop fastener a heel hollow chamber having a valve 16 to provide cushioning is formed in at least a heel position of the sole 2 of the running shoe 1. Gas such as air or helium gas of specific quantity is injected into the heel hollow chamber 15 through the valve 16.
