Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop cutting work before sawtooth ruptures by using the sawtooth up to a limit of its service life.
SOLUTION: When cutting work is performed on a work by a band saw blade B, vibration by the band saw blade in a cutting area to cut the work is detected by a vibration detecting device 53, and when a detecing value (vibration of an actual band saw blade) of vibration by this vibration detecting device becomes larger than a vibration preset value of vibration which is preset in a control device 49 and has a danger of rupturing the band saw blade, a cutting condition is automatically changed by the control device 49, and since vibration of the band saw blade is reduced, the band saw blade can be used up to a limit of the service life. When vibration of the actual band saw blade again exceeds the vibration preset value, since the cutting work is stopped, the band saw blade is not ruptured at cutting work time of the work.
