Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rush current suppression method, a relay circuit and a relay socket capable of suppressing rush current to a load to some extent with extremely simple configurations without causing increase in cost.SOLUTION: The rush current suppression method for suppressing rush current to a load 3 in a relay circuit 1 having a relay switch 5 interposed between an AC power source 2 and the load 3 and a relay coil 6 for, when it is energized with an output voltage outputted from the AC power source 2, turning on the relay switch 5 after the lapse of an operation delay time is characterized to serially connect a voltage restriction element 7 to be put in a conduction state when voltage which is equal to or more than predetermined restriction voltage is applied to the relay coil 6, and to determine a time when the relay switch 5 is turned on by the voltage restriction element 7, and to allow the phase of the output voltage when the relay switch 5 is turned on to fall within a target phase range.
