Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a rush harvester to discharge each of a long stalk state and a finely cut state of waste rushes contained in reaped rushes onto a field.
SOLUTION: This rush harvester has a selecting device 20 for selecting rushes to be harvested and waste rushes from reaped rushes, discharging the waste rushes in a long stalk state onto a discharging path R and dropping onto a field. The rush harvester also has a rush finely cutting device 30 finely cutting the waste rushes to be discharged from the selecting device 20 onto the discharging path R with a rotating cutter 34 and dropping the waste rushes from the discharging path R. The finely cutting device 30 is changeably fitted to the rush harvester to a using position wherein the rotating cutter 34 enters the discharging path R and finely cuts the waste rushes from the selecting device 20 and a non-use position wherein the rotating cutter 34 is located at an outer side of the discharging path R and drops the waste rushes from the selecting device 20 in a long stalk state without cutting.
