Abstract:

To provide a rust preventive composition which is provided with performances satisfying the quality to be required for rust and working quality for the suspension parts, cap structural parts, plate-clad parts of car bodies, and is harmless for the environment since the quantity of an organic solvent to be volatilized is controlled to ≤10 mass%.

Drying oil having an iodine value of ≥130 in 10 to 60 wt.% to the whole of the composition and specified wax and/or rust preventive additives in 1 to 50 wt.% to the whole of the composition are dissolved with mineral oil based lubricating oil base oils, a synthetic lubricating oil base material or a liquid saturated hydrocarbon mixture, or are dispersed therein.
