To provide a rust preventive oil for refrigerator parts exhibiting sufficiently high rust preventing performances to metallic refrigerator parts and capable of sufficiently preventing an expansion mechanism, etc., from being blocked even when contaminated into a refrigerating system and a method for rustproofing the refrigerating machine parts using the rust preventive oil.
This rust preventive oil for refrigerator parts is characterized by comprising an alkylbenzene.
