Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attempt labor saving of work and improvement of safety by enabling rust preventive oil on a guide rail to be very simply and reliably removed.
CONSTITUTION: A rust-preventive oil removing device is provided with a device main body 3 capable of being moved along a guide rail and a lateral guide roller 12 and an upward guide roller 16 assembled to this device main body 3, and for maintaining the attitude of the device main boy 3 approximately constant in relation to a rail part 2a of the guide rail 2. And it is provided with a rust-preventive block 21 and both side plates 22 to be brought in slide- contact with the top surface and both side surfaces of the rail part of the guide rail assembled to the device main body 3 over the whole width in the state where it is inclined at the edge part in the traveling direction, and respectively having hardness lower than the rail part 2a surface, a spring mechanism 31 for pressing the plates 22 on both sides to the rail part 2a side surface, and an opening/closing mechanism 41 for moving the plates 22 against the spring mechanism 31 and extending the distance between mutual both side plates.
