Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an S wave-generating mechanism as a percussion system not influenced by a cell pressure which can cope with a height change of a sample when the sample is pressed tight, and can make a percussion strength constant at all times.
SOLUTION: A receive bar 19 as a part receiving a percussion is set straight at a side end part of an upper face of a cap 6 placed on an upper end face of a sample fitted in a large triaxial cell. A swingable hammer body 31 for hitting the receive bar 19 towards a center of the cap 6 is suspended from an upper plate 20 of a triaxial chamber thereabove. Moreover, a rotary shaft 24 rotated by an upper end handle 25 longitudinally penetrates the upper plate 20 in a manner so that a level can be adjusted to match the hammer body 31. A part of a rotational locus at a leading end of a work shaft 28 provided horizontally at a lower end of the rotary shaft 24 overlaps with a swing locus 33 of a hammer shaft 31b of the hammer body 31.
