Abstract:
To provide compositions and methods for treating or preventing a disease or disorder using a SHP2 inhibitor alone or in combination with a RAS pathway inhibitor (e.g., MEK inhibitor); methods for establishing therapeutic plan suitable for the subjects based on the expression of one or more biomarkers indicative of sensitivity to SHP2 inhibitors; and methods for determining sensitivity to SHP2 inhibitors based on the phosphorylation status of SHP2.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for treating a subject having a disease or disorder that comprises a cell containing a mutation encoding KRASG12C variant, the method comprising providing to the subject an inhibitor of SHP2. Also provided is a method further comprising providing to the subject an inhibitor of RAS pathway (e.g., a MARK inhibitor, MEK inhibitor or ERK inhibitor).SELECTED DRAWING: None
