Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erosion control dam with a simple structure which can reduce costs, facilitates construction and which can reduce environmental loads.SOLUTION: A ring-type net 18 formed by connecting a plurality of ring-shaped members 20 with each other is installed in an intermediate area part 16 for communicating with the upstream side and the downstream side of a mountain stream R. A reinforcing rope 26 supported by the intermediate area part 16 (both sleeve parts 12) is inserted in the ring-type net 18. When a boulder flow occurs, kinetic energy of the boulder flow is absorbed by the deformed ring-shaped members 20 and flow-down matters such as boulders and drift woods can be dammed up by the entire ring-type net 18. As the ring-type net 18 stops flow-down matters while being deformed, a foundation structure of a concrete structure for supporting the ring-type net such as both sleeve parts 12 is simple and workability between mountains can be greatly improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
