Abstract:
To provide a sack vane for a wind mill for power generation or to generate industrial power having a vertical main shaft, in which the vane has such a shape as not likely to receive any resistance even for a head wind or the air resistance in rotation.
The vane 1 for the wind mill having the vertical shaft is made of a soft, resilient FRP and is to be mounted on the rotor of the wind mill, and when viewed on the cross-section, the front extremity of an auxiliary plate 3 is coupled with the front part of a main plate 2 formed so that its middle in the direction fore and aft is curved swollen to the outside, and by this auxiliary plate 3 a sack part 4 is formed in the front of each vane 1.
