Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle joint fixture which can be compactly packed and facilitates fixing work for fixing a saffle joint to a pipe body.SOLUTION: A saddle joint fixture 3 is equipped with a first locking member 21 locked to a first flange 8 of a saddle joint 5, a second locking member 22 locked to a second flange 9, and a steel wire 23 connecting the first locking member 21 and the second locking member 22. The second locking member 22 has an abutting portion 41 which can abut on an upper surface 9a of the second flange 9, and a connecting portion 43 connected with the steering wire 23 at a position separating from the abutting portion 41. The first locking member 21 is locked to the first flange 8 to draw around the opposite side to a saddle 7 of the steel wire 23 on a pipe body 2, and then, if the second locking member 22 is set in a locking posture 22B in which the abutting portion 41 abuts on the upper surface 9a and the connecting portion 43 separates upward from the upper surface 9a, the steel wire 23 extends to be longer than natural length, and the saddle 7 is energized on the pipe body 2 by elastic return force F of the steel wire 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
