Abstract:
To provide a saddle riding electric vehicle that suppresses a battery from being displaced rightwards or leftwards in a vehicle body frame with respect to the vehicle body frame, and suppresses degradation in the rigidity of the vehicle body frame and an increase in the weight of the vehicle body frame.SOLUTION: A saddle riding electric vehicle in accordance with the present invention includes a vehicle body frame that satisfies the following (A) to (D). (A) The vehicle body frame bears a front wheel, rear wheel, steering mechanism, battery, and power unit. (B) The vehicle body frame includes a battery storage that forms a battery storage space located behind a front axle and ahead of a rear axle when seen from above the vehicle body frame. (C) The vehicle body frame has a battery attachment/detachment opening that is shaped to allow a projection drawing which is presented from ahead of the battery to pass, but not to allow a projection drawing which is presented from below the battery to pass. (D) The battery attachment/detachment opening is located above the bottom of the battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
