Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-riding type electric vehicle that improves cornering performance by stabilizing a roll behavior of a vehicle body when cornering is performed by tilting the vehicle body sideward.SOLUTION: A saddle-riding type electric vehicle 1 running in such a manner as to tilt a vehicle body sideward during cornering includes front and rear wheels 4 and 5, an electric motor 18 that generates rotational power to drive at least one of the front and rear wheels 4 and 5, and a power storage unit 22 that is arranged between the front and rear wheels 4 and 5 and that supplies electric power to the electric motor 18. A power storage device 24, which has a cylindrical outer shape, is arranged in such a manner that its axis line L1 is directed in a longitudinal direction.
