Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attenuate vibrations which occur in a rear wheel due to variations in driving force to be transmitted to the rear wheel via a chain and the variations to be transmitted to the rear wheel from a road surface.SOLUTION: A rear wheel includes an axle, a wheel hub, a plurality of bearings, an annular member, a sprocket, an elastic member and an attenuating mechanism. The axle is inserted into the wheel hub. Each of the plurality of bearings is arranged between the wheel hub and the axle in a radial direction of the wheel hub. The annular member is arranged so as to be rotatable relative to the wheel hub in a circumferential direction of the wheel hub. The sprocket is joined to the annular member, and a chain is wound around the sprocket. The elastic member elastically deforms when the annular member rotates relatively to the wheel hub. The attenuating mechanism attenuates vibration which displaces the annular member in the circumferential direction with respect to the wheel hub with a position where the annular member rotates relatively to the wheel hub set as a center.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
