Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-riding type vehicle which can reduce the size of an engine while having a variable valve mechanism including an actuator.SOLUTION: A vehicle body frame 3 is not disposed forward of the front wall of each of a cylinder member 35, a cylinder head 41, and a head cover 45, and the vehicle body frame 3 does not overlap the front wall of each of the cylinder member 35, cylinder head 41, and head cover 45 in the front view of a vehicle. An actuator body 73 is installed to the head cover 45. The actuator body 73 has a center P located rearward of a cylinder axis L in the side view of the vehicle. A cylinder unit 33 is inclined such that the actuator body 73 does not overlap either of a right main frame 6R and a left main frame in the side view of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
