Abstract:
To provide a saddle-riding type vehicle which can inhibit movement of a harness connected to a rotary electric machine while avoiding enlargement of a power unit.SOLUTION: A saddle-riding type vehicle includes: a connection member 33 connected to a vehicle body frame 12 and supporting a swing shaft 26 extending in parallel with an axle of a rear wheel; a swing type power unit 27 in which a bearing body 83 rotatably connected to the swing shaft 26 above a rotation axis Rx of a crank shaft 52 is integrally formed with a crank case 53 and which swings relative to the vehicle body frame 12; a rotary electric machine 65 which is disposed in a power generator chamber 69 partitioned from a crank chamber and partially divided by the crank case 53, generates power in response to rotation of the crank shaft 52, and drives the crank shaft 52 in response to supply of electric current; and harnesses 47, 49 which are connected to the rotary electric machine 65 and pulled out from the front side of the bearing body 83 to the outside of the crank case 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
