Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-riding type vehicle which is provided with catalytic devices in left and right exhaust gas flow passages and in which an influence on a foot grounding property of the catalytic devices is suppressed even when the catalytic devices are large in size.SOLUTION: A saddle-riding type vehicle 1 includes: exhaust gas flow passages connected to a multi-cylinder engine 29 and arranged independently on a right side and a left side of a vehicle body; a first catalytic device 31 disposed in the middle of the left side exhaust gas flow passage; a second catalytic device 32 disposed in the middle of the right side exhaust gas flow passage; and a swing arm 36 swingably and pivotally supporting a rear wheel. The saddle-riding type vehicle 1 has mufflers 33, 34 connected to downstream sides of the exhaust gas flow passages with respect to the first catalytic device 31 and the second catalytic device 32, respectively, and the first catalytic device 31 and the second catalytic device 32 are arranged side by side below the swing arm 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
