PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-stitched book with a compact disk which can contain a CD without making a case bulky and be manufactured at a low cost.
SOLUTION: A compact-disk containing body 2 is manufactured from a strip body 18. The strip body 18 is equipped with a first strip body 24, a second one 25 and a third one 26 which are consecutively provided via a first folding line 20 and a second one 22 paralleled each other. The third strip body 28 is provided with three pieces hooking pieces 201 directed inside by a cutting line. The compact disk 14 enclosed in a bag 16 is inserted into the lower side of the hooking pieces 201 and contained. The second strip body 26 and the third strip body 28 are piled up by upward-folding with the boundary of the second folding line 22, and the compact-disk containing body 2 can be obtained by folding the first folding line 20 section upward. The first folding line 20 section at the boundary of the first strip body 24 and the second strip body 26 is saddle-stitched to the back of the cover together with the back of the text by a binder, thereby the saddle-stitched book with a compact disk is provided.
