Abstract:
To provide a safety cap which is of simple structure and compact, can maintain self-standing properties even when mounted on inclined containers, and is hard for children to open and highly safe.SOLUTION: It is formed as such that an inner cap 12 is inserted into a bottomed cylindrical outer cap 14 with a top surface 14a and a side surface part 14b. The inner cap 12 and the outer cap 14 are mutually slidable between an engaged state and a released state in the insertion direction, and are mutually rotatable about an axis with the insertion direction as the axis. The inner cap 12 is provided with a female screw 28 screwed onto a male screw 52 formed on a spout 50 of a container body 48 and a ratchet pawl 18 which is elastic and energizes the outer cap 14 in the direction away from the inner cap 12. The ratchet pawl 18 has a contact surface 18b facing the fastening direction. The outer cap 14 has a ratchet groove 32 facing the contact surface 18b of the ratchet pawl 18. The inner cap 12 and the outer cap 14 have locking grooves 20 or locking projections 36 on parts of the surfaces facing each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
