PURPOSE: To reversely move an electric motor vehicle when the vehicle collides with a wall during forward travel by operating a limit switch to engage an electric brake regardless of the position of an accelerator.
CONSTITUTION: When a manual forward switch LsAF is closed, a magnet coil MF is energized to cause a contact mf to make contact with contact b, a motor DM to normally rotate, and a vehicle to run forward. When an electric motor vehicle collides with a wall or the like, the limit switch LsHD is operated to cause its contact X2 to be disconnected, and its contacts X1 and X3 to be connected so as to deenergize the coil MF. Thus, the contact mf is closed with a contact a. Then, a magnet coil MR is energized to cause a contact mr to make contact with a contact b so as to reversely rotate a motor. Since the contact X3 is connected, the base potential of a transistor Tr1 is dropped via a resistor R3 regardless of the position of an accelerator resistor AR to control the gate of a chopper CH through an oscillator OSC.
